1. Guangdong Pharmaceutical University — from ¥6,230/yr
Programs: Pharmacy (¥6,230/yr), Chinese Pharmacy (¥6,230/yr), Clinical Medicine (¥7,656/yr, 5 years) — all Chinese-taught bachelor's degrees.
Guangdong Pharmaceutical University is by far the lowest-cost degree option in Guangzhou. Its four-year Pharmacy bachelor's costs just ¥6,230 per year, and its five-year Clinical Medicine program costs ¥7,656 per year — a fraction of English-taught MBBS fees. Application fee: ¥400. 2. Guangzhou Huashang College — ¥8,000/yr
Programs: Chinese Language Program (non-degree, 1 year, ¥8,000/yr).
The cheapest language program in Guangzhou. Note that this one-year program cannot be extended, so it suits students who want an intensive year of Chinese before moving on to a degree elsewhere. Application fee: ¥400. Deadline: August 15, 2026.
3. Guangdong University of Foreign Studies — from ¥8,600/yr
Programs: Chinese Language Program (¥8,600/yr, renewable up to 2 years); Chinese-taught Bachelor's in Chinese Language and International Trade (¥20,000/yr); Translation and Interpreting Master's (¥20,000/yr).

For students seeking practical, employment-focused credentials, this vocational college offers bilingual diplomas in high-demand technical fields. Application fee: ¥400. Deadline: September 30, 2026.
8. Guangzhou University — from ¥18,000/yr

Its cooperative programs pair the diploma with international pathways, making it a smart low-cost launchpad. No application fee (¥0). Deadline: July 31, 2026.
Note: Tuition figures are verified against each university's published 2026/2027 international-student rates. Chinese-taught programs usually require HSK level 4–5; English-taught equivalents cost more (typically ¥26,000–34,000/yr in Guangzhou).
