Ghana is one of the fastest-growing sources of international students in China, and the Greater Bay Area is a natural destination. With English-taught MBBS, engineering, and business programs, plus scholarships that can cover tuition and accommodation, a Chinese degree is now a realistic path for WASSCE graduates from Ghana.
This guide explains what Ghanaian students need to know: costs, scholarships, visa steps, and how to verify your medical degree back home.
Reality check: tuition at many GBA universities starts below ¥10,000/year — roughly the cost of one semester at many private universities in Ghana. Add scholarships, and China becomes one of the most affordable high-quality destinations available.
